For closed options, you can buy DVD storage units with doors, you will also find an abundant supply. These act more as a piece of furniture, and can look great even in heavily used areas of any home. They will also store any type of media that you have collected. Although, the main drawback being that these units generally do not have the storage capacity that the larger bookcase units have. Typically these are made of wood, and can be found in any finish that will coordinate with the wood finish you currently use in your home.

There is no excuse to remain unorganized with your media collection, as there is a vast array of options of storage furniture to easily meet your needs.
